Clay originaly started this album project after he put together the "hellfire gothic disco"
band VENUS LOOKING GLASS. After many financial problems (broken gear, recording
expenses, etc.) and musical incoheasion, VLG fell apart. Not wanting to see all of the
songs he had written lie unheard forever, Clay decided to start the project over, re-write
everyones part, play and re-record everyones part completely solo. After many hours in the
studio Clay released his first cd in July of 2001- "THROUGH THE VENUS LOOKING
GLASS". This tech-metal masterpiece is influenced by a wide range of music; from middle
eastern to classical to raw driving metal, while maintaining an ultra modern industrial feel.
